Why you should use playlists on YouTube and how to create them
For anyone out there who is wondering how to create a YouTube Playlist and why you may want to do that, the steps will be at the end of the article.
The reason that Playlists are important on YouTube is that the algorithm considers each video you add to a playlist as a “new” video. This means that you are effectively doubling the number of videos you are uploading according to Google’s servers.
By having these higher video counts, you will be escalated above others who may be uploading the same number of videos as you but not using playlists on their channel.
The easiest way to create a playlist is to scroll down when you are finished uploading a video.
1. There will be a box that is labeled “Playlists.”
2. Click on that box and click “Create Playlist” enter the title you want the playlist to use, and select the appropriate visibility level.
3. Once you click “Create,” it will kick you back to the playlist selection screen, where you can check the box next to the playlist that you want to add the video to.
4. Congratulations, you have now created your first playlist!
